What redesign can mean

Every gown is different. What is possible depends on how it was built, the fabric you have, and your calendar. At the consult we talk through options like:

   Schedule a private appointment. Tell us you are bringing a gown for redesign or heirloom remodel so we prepare the right visit.

   Bring the gown and context

   Bring the dress, inspiration images, and wedding-day shoes or planned undergarments if you expect to try it on. Notes about what you want to keep (lace, buttons, lining) help.

   Construction review

   We look at how the gown is built, what can move safely, and what would fight the fabric.

   Estimate before cut or sew

   You leave with a clear sense of scope, timeline, and cost factors before work starts.

   Fittings through finish

   Timeline depends on scope. Redesign often needs more calendar than standard eight-week alterations. We say so with the estimate.

Timeline expectations

For standard bridal alterations, we recommend beginning 12 to 14 weeks before the wedding, with an eight-week standard turnaround and a final fitting commonly about two weeks out. Details live on alterations.

Redesign and heirloom remodel do not share that fixed week count. Complex lace, beading, or structure work needs more time. Start earlier when you can. Rush only when the calendar allows. If your date is close, call (918) 200-9452 and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

What drives the cost

You get an estimate at the consult, before work begins.

Cost depends on:

• Construction (layers, lining, structure)
• Lace, beading, or delicate finish
• How much the silhouette, neckline, or structure must change
• Whether existing fabric is enough or new yardage is needed
• Number of fittings
• Rush timing when the calendar is tight

We do not publish a fixed redesign price list. The gown in the room decides the work.
