Morgan

Meet Morgan! Her and David we married at Moore Farms on March 19th, 2016. 

Morgan's dress journey started about 20 years ago, the day her mom got married! Fast forward about 20 years to August of 2015, when Morgan started the process of reconstructing her mom's wedding dress to wear herself!

The first fitting was a fun one! Her mom got married in the 80's and it was a true 80's dress complete with poofy sleeves, giant butt bow, and crown veil. We definitely had some work to do!

Although Morgan wanted to honor her mom and keep the integrity the dress, she also wanted the dress to represent her and her unique style! So we started the deconstruction process. We said bye to the satin sleeves, bow and crown, and said hello to modern-day elegance!

We used a beautiful beaded lace to completely cover the bodice and update the sleeves. We fitted to bodice to perfection and made needed repairs. We finished it all off by adding pockets to both sides! 

Morgan was completely transformed and looked absolutely stunning in her "modern" gown. We were honored to work with such a treasured garment!
