Hi, 👋 I'm Sonni Jackson, the founder of Valentine Bridal. The journey of Valentine Bridal began over a decade ago when I struggled to find the perfect wedding dress for my special day. Frustrated and unable to find a gown that matched my vision, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own dress. This experience was transformative, and it was my husband who had the lightbulb moment: I should be doing this for others!

Before my dress journey, my sewing journey was well on its way. At the age of 5, I found my mom’s sewing kit that she had received as a wedding gift (this gift had been unused up to this point… lol) and was immediately intrigued. By the age of 9, my parents purchased me my first sewing machine, and I never looked back! After graduating high school from Lincoln Christian School, I set my sights on California. I had the honor of studying at the prestigious Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I honed my skills in design and craftsmanship.

At Valentine Bridal, our mission is to make every client feel unique, beautiful, and confident, whether it's for a wedding, a gala, or any other special event. We offer personalized consultations, bespoke dress designs, and a range of luxurious fabrics and laces. About the Name

When I first launched my business in November of 2013, it was under the name Bridal Couture by Sonni. It was always meant to be a working title because, as many entrepreneurs know, naming a business is hard! Despite the beautiful gowns and wonderful clients, the name never quite felt right.

Fast forward about six years, and my life took a transformative turn with the birth of my beautiful daughter, Valentine. Becoming a mother was a profound and transformative experience for me. In honor of this new chapter and the incredible inspiration my daughter brings to my life, I decided it was time to rename my business.

Thus, Valentine Bridal was born. This name not only reflects the deep love and joy I have for my daughter but also symbolizes the passion and dedication I pour into creating each custom gown. At Valentine Bridal, we strive to make every client feel as special and cherished as the name itself.

After your wedding, we offer a special complimentary service where we remove the zipper pull and transform it into a stunning necklace.
