Chassi and Jake
September 16, 2016
Summer’s end brought a new beginning for Chassi and Jake. They were blessed with a beautiful wedding venue – the Bride’s family’s property in rural Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Lush green sprawling grounds, clear blue skies boasting just a wisp of clouds, the sound of song birds joining in chorus to welcome cherished family and friends as they witnessed the beginning of forever for these two lovers. Chassi’s family made sure everything was perfect for the Bride and Groom’s special day. Repurposed church pews provided authentic chapel seating for the guests. A grand archway was crafted to adorn the altar. Every detail received its due attention, including the Bridal Gown!
Chassi wanted a gown that would leave her guests breathless and Bridal Couture By Sonni fulfilled her dream! The fitted sheath silhouette is fashioned of a silky, light-weight charmeuse. A sensational plunging neckline and back add drama to accentuate the Bride’s delicate figure. Embellishing the gown is a three-dimensional guipure lace, hand-sewn to create the perfect lines. My favorite detail of this gown is the cathedral train! Attached at the natural waist, it follows the hipline until flaring. Flowing behind Chassi in unmatched elegance, it too, is adorned with the stunning guipure lace.
Chassi requested some special touches to her gown that we were glad to accommodate. To honor the memory of her brother whom she tragically lost not long ago, she desired to have an image of wings hand-stitched in lace, added to the back of the dress. We gift each of our brides with a 14-caret zipper pull with a small diamond set within it. We suggested to Chassi setting her brother’s birthstone in her zipper pull so she would always have him close to heart when she wears it on a necklace chain, long after the wedding day.
Chassi, your inspiration allowed my creativity to flourish in designing this most beautiful gown. Thank you for this privilege. God bless your forever with Jake!
