Frustrated and unable to find a gown that matched my vision, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own dress. This experience was transformative, and it was my husband who had the lightbulb moment: I should be doing this for others!

Inspired by my own journey, I launched Valentine Bridal to help women create their dream gowns for all special occasions. My background includes rigorous training at the prestigious Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I honed my skills in design and craftsmanship.

When I first launched my business in November of 2013, it was under the name Bridal Couture by Sonni. It was always meant to be a working title because, as many entrepreneurs know, naming a business is hard! Despite the beautiful gowns and wonderful clients, the name never quite felt right.

Fast forward about six years, and my life took a transformative turn with the birth of my beautiful daughter, Valentine. Becoming a mother was a profound and transformative experience for me. In honor of this new chapter and the incredible inspiration my daughter brings to my life, I decided it was time to rename my business.

Thus, Valentine Bridal was born. This name not only reflects the deep love and joy I have for my daughter but also symbolizes the passion and dedication I pour into creating each custom gown. At Valentine Bridal, we strive to make every client feel as special and cherished as the name itself.
